10 Beauty Finds of 2014 So Far

Takiko recently suggested to me and a group of close blogger friends that we should do our take on this post by Viviannadoesmakeup.
I thought it was a great idea and agreed straight away.
Please know that I did buy a couple of these things in 2013 BUT I started to really love them this year so yes, I’m not even cheating.
Most of the products are well known and loved in the beauty blogging community, do let me know if you we have anything in common.

Takiko recentemente ha proposto a me e a un gruppo di amiche blogger di fare la nostra versione di questo post di Viviannadoesmakeup.
Ho pensato che fosse un’ottima idea e ho accettato subito.
Devo ammettere che alcuni prodotti sono con me dall’anno scorso MA è solo in questi ultimi mesi che ho imparato ad apprezzarli a pieno quindi facciamo che non sto barando, ok?

My Top 5 Travel Essential Products

Dramatag time, YAY!
I love writing these posts, I love reading your take about them.
In case you still don’t know what the fuss is all about let me explain. 
You have to choose five products -don’t cheat!- that have something to do with the picked theme. 
Today’s theme was chosen by Misato San, from the blog A Lost Girl (Loves Makeup).

Adoro scrivere questi post, adoro leggere le vostre versioni.
Nel caso non li conosceste ancora piccolo riassunto: si tratta di scegliere cinque prodotti -cerchiamo di non barare se ce la facciamo, anche se a volte vado contro le mie regole pure io- legati ad un filo conduttore diverso ogni volta.

Empties products time!
I know this is a type of post you enjoy, I’ve done quite a few of them in the past and I like reading yours.
I don’t know how many of them I’ll be able to do in the near future, having two separate stashes -one at my Milan home and one of them at my parents, I don’t go there every week but often enough- means it’ll take me longer to finish up things.

So che vi piace questo tipo di post, ne ho fatti qualcuno in passato e mi piace molto leggere quelli degli altri.
Non penso che riuscirò a farne molti nel futuro prossimo, avere lo stash separato -parte da me a Milano e parte a casa dai miei, non ci vado ogni settimana ma comunque spesso- vuol dire che ci metterò di più a finire le cose.

Today’s theme was chosen by Nero, second classified at the top 5 contest.
Five products with special meanings.
Everybody has a special lipstick that reminds us of something, a lucky charm or something that just makes us feel better..an eyeshadow that makes us comforted because our granny bought it for us and even if the color sucks we still wear it…our first-kiss gloss -now totally unwearable- that’s still on our vanity table.

a tutte capita di avere un rossetto speciale, quello che ci ricorda un avvenimento, che secondo noi porta bene o che ci fa sentire meglio.. l’ombretto che ci fa sentire coccolate perchè ce lo ha regalato la nonna e anche se il colore fa pena schifo pietà e compassione ce lo mettiamo uguale.. il gloss del nostro primo bacio – ormai rancido e immettibile – che continua a far bella mostra di sè in mezzo a tutti gli altri e che ogni mattina salutiamo con lo sguardo.

Another Empties Post! – 4 –

I know these are really a lot of products BUT I’ve had some of them for years and years.
I’ve just decided to finish as many products as I can in this period because I just feel guilty having things lying there without being used.
I think I’ve finished almost every half-used product I had so this should be the last empties post for a while.
So che questi qui sopra sono davvero tanti prodotti MA alcuni di questi li avevo da secoli praticamente.
Ho deciso di finire tutte le cose che riesco in questo periodo perché proprio mi sento in colpa ad averli lì senza usarli.
Penso di aver finito praticamente tutti i prodotti mezzi usati che avevo quindi questo dovrebbe essere l’ultimo post di prodotti finiti per un bel po’. Considerate che c’erano dei giorni in cui finivo praticamente un prodotto al giorno e invece da quando ho fatto queste foto non ho finito più neanche un misero campioncino.
