Get Ready For Christmas 2014!
Posted onThis year I’m not really in the Christmas mood and I’m not even entirely sure why.
That’s an happy beginning, right? #bahhumbug
I’d like to get some peace for Christmas -and a million euro, let’s be honest-.
When some blogger friends asked me to do a post about our way to get ready for christmas I accepted, thinking that it may get me in a festive mood.
My look is nothing special -especially if you compare it to those of my amazing partners in crime- but well, feel sorry for me!
Let’s start.
Quest’anno non mi sembra proprio natale e non sono nemmeno del tutto sicura del perché.
Che inizio allegro, vero?
Come regalo vorrei un po’ di calma -e anche un milione di euro, non siamo ipocriti-.
Quando con delle amiche blogger abbiamo deciso di fare un post sui nostri preparativi per il natale ho pensato che potesse essere anche solo un bel modo per tentare di entrare nello spirito natalizio. Io non penso che il mio look sia particolarmente interessante -specialmente se paragonato a quelli delle mie meravigliose colleghe- però ecco, abbiate pietà.

I’ve received these products from Stefano Saccani’s -the brand italian distributor- Alice.
Sensual Reflections is pretty much the perfect collection.
Can you believe I like pretty much everything in it?
I really like everything I’ve received and bought from the brand so far -all my posts about it are here-, it has so many good products and some that are just perfect for my way of seeing makeup.
Now we’ll talk about the products I’ve had the chance to try in the last few months, ready?

Ho ricevuto questi prodotti da Alice di Stefano Saccani, distributore italiano di questo brand che mi sta conquistando sempre di più.
La Sensual Reflections, per quanto mi riguarda, è una collezione perfetta.
Ci credete che mi piace praticamente ogni pezzo? In generale il marchio mi piace tanto – qui trovate ogni post in cui ho parlato dei prodotti -, propone sempre dei prodotti interessanti e affini al mio modo di vivere il trucco.
Adesso vi parlo un po’ dei prodotti che ormai sto provando da un po’, pronte?

Posted onYou know that FOTD’s are not my thing, right?
I hate taking pictures of myself but that’s not the only thing, I also don’t think I have anything to add in terms of looks and so on.
There are so many talented bloggers out there, why should I bore you with my boring (and often not that good) looks?!
But I’ve changed my mind recently.
Not because I suddenly became a pro at doing makeup -I wish!-.
In the italian blogoshpere my skintone is not that common and showing how some products look on me may be helpful. Also, if I take enough pictures of myself I may some day not have shivers down my spine everytime somebody suggests to take one.
So here we are!
Sapete che i FOTD non sono proprio la mia cosa, vero?
Odio farmi foto ma non è tutto, penso anche di non avere nulla da offrire in termini di look.
Ci sono così tante blogger super talentuose lì fuori, perché dovrei annoiarvi a morte con i miei look banali e spesso mal eseguiti?
Però ultimamente ho cambiato idea, specialmente grazie ad alcuni vostri commenti.
Non è perché mi sono svegliata una mattina con la manualità di Pat Mc Grath, magari.
Nella blogosfera italiana non ci sono tantissime persone con il mio tono di pelle e effettivamente farvi vedere come mi stanno certi colori potrebbe aiutare qualcuno.
E poi se mi faccio abbastanza foto ad un certo punto potrei non andare in panico ogni volta che qualcuno suggerisce di farne una.
Quindi eccoci qui!

I know you may be wondering what the hell I’m talking about but I swear there’s a logical explanation.
A couple of weeks ago I met G., a Drama&Makeup reader.
While we chatted away about Illamasqua blushes and so on she asked me if she could do my makeup for a project.
She’s currently attending a course at BCM, a makeup school in Milan, and she had to practice on a different skin tone.
I agreed so here we are, my made up face not made up by me!
Sì quella è la mia faccia. Però no, questo non è un vero Face of the Day.
So che potreste chiedervi il senso di tutto ciò ma vi assicuro che c’è una spiegazione logica.
Qualche settimana fa ho conosciuto G., una lettrice di Drama&Makeup.
Dopo qualche commento scambiato sulla pagina ci siamo messe d’accordo per fare un giro a base di chiacchiere cosmetiche.
Mentre parlavamo di blush Illamasqua e tante cose belle mi ha chiesto se poteva truccarmi per un progetto.
Lei al momento frequenta la BCM e aveva il compito di esercitarsi su un tono di pelle diverso dal suo.
Io ho detto di sì e quindi eccoci, la mia faccia truccata ma non da me!

Well, you should now that I deeply hate you for asking! No, I don’t hate you BUT I hate having my picture taken I feel horrendous, I never know where to look, I don’t know how to smile, I close my eyes, I make weird faces.
