MAC Paint Pots-Indianwood and Painterly

Posted on

I own two MAC Paint Pots, Indianwood and Painterly.
They’re both really famous, so you probably already know these shades.

Indianwood is a metallic antique bronze, with a nice metallic effect.
I’ve used it mainly as a base with darker shades and I’ve quite liked it.
I guess you could use it by itself, the color is really pretty.

Painterly is a nude beige color that I’ve used, like Indianwood, as a eyeshadow base.
When I first bought them I was totally in love with them.

They’re my first cream shadows and I was truly amazed.
But, after I’ve tried many other cream shadows, I’m not that amazed anymore.
They dry out very quickly, they’re really not easy to blend..
Well, after trying Benefit’s Creaseless Cream , Chanel Illusion d’Ombre and L’oreal Color Infaillible, I really don’t like MAC Paint Pots.
Maybe I’m not skilled enough to use them, in that case, do you have any advice?
With love,
S.
